Terms & Conditions

  1. By booking with The Mini Event Co, you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions.
     

  2. Bookings are secured by a non refundable deposit of £50, if this isn’t paid within 48 hours, your date will be released. After this, please check the date is still available before making payment.
     

  3. Final payment is to be paid up until 1 week before the event. Without the full balance being cleared, we have the right to cancel the booking.
     

  4. Cancellation with less than 7 days notice from the booked date, will result in full payment. We will however, o date where we can.
     

  5. A £50 damage deposit is required and added to the final balance.
     

  6. It is the hirers responsibility to ensure that our equipment remains undamaged, with no staining or dirt upon collection. If equipment is returned in a different state to how you received it, your damage deposit will not be refunded and will be used to cover replacements or cleaning costs.
     

  7. Delivery is free 5 miles from Sittingbourne, beyond this, an agreed 50p per mile charge is added on top of your booking. Please ensure there is sufficient access to your venue, including parking to allow to load and unload our equipment. Please let us know if the event isn’t held on ground level.
     

  8. We require between 30-60 minutes for setting up and collection, depending on package. Please allow time for this within your hire time.
     

  9. All our hire agreements are a standard of 4 hours, unless advised otherwise and agreed with us. Additional fees are added for longer bookings.
     

  10. All October to April set ups are indoors only.
     

  11. May to September events can be set up outside as long as the ground is dry and no rain or high winds are forecast for the day. Please have a back up option during these months in case the booking needs to be changed to indoors on the day of hire.
     

  12. No shoes (socks only), No food or drink, No face paint, No glitter (including glitter tattoos), No pens and No sharp objects on our bouncy castles or soft play.
     

  13. We can’t set up our equipment if face painters are on site or have been booked.
     

  14. Adult supervision is required when children are using the equipment unless paid and agreed for it to be manned, this is more for larger events such as weddings.
     

  15. If balloons are part of the booked package, please be aware that disposal of them, is the responsibility of the customer.
     

  16. Once the balloons have been installed, any damage or loss to them is down to the customer. Balloons are very delicate and must be treated with care. They are sensitive to heat changes, so placing them near to radiators, pipes or heaters can cause them to pop or deflate.
